Welcome to my blog! My name is Steph, and I love art! I have loved to color and sketch since childhood. There was nothing better than a brand new coloring book and a new box of Crayon 64's. As a grownup, I have enjoyed using colored pencils, graduating from the Crayolas to the Prismacolors (one of my favorite Christmas presents ever). I also enjoy painting with acrylics, especially abstracts and botanicals. I prefer bright happy colors in my art. Colors don't have to be true to life, but they do have to be vibrant and beautiful. I haven't had as much time to paint as I would like, but I hope to change that very soon.
I also love vector art. One of my favorite hobbies is creating drawings using Adobe Illustrator, which is one of the best programs ever. Photoshop may have it's purposes, but Illustrator is the best. If I had to pick a dream career, I would create clip art and images for scrapbooks. That would be the ultimate. In my spare time, I also like to create websites, with all the images and buttons to go with them. Technology and art are the perfect combination.
So, in my blog, I will be posting about my latest art projects and ideas. I will also post about interesting art-related articles I find on the web. Tutorials I have created may follow. This blog will be a work in progress, so come along and enjoy the ride! :)
